Conyers, GA - The South Coast League of Professional Baseball
has announced several changes in personnel and that the league
will be relocating league headquarters in preparation for the
2008 season.
Chris Allen has stepped down from his role
of Chief Operating Officer effective 10/15/07. “Chris was
helpful in creating the foundation of the league as well as
helping guide the league through a tremendously challenging
inaugural season,” said SCL Chief Executive Officer Jamie
Toole. “We thank him for his efforts and wish him and his
family the best.”
In addition, South Georgia
Peanuts General Manager Keith Michlig was relieved of his duties
and SCL VP of Georgia Operations Ric Sisler will assume control
of the daily operations of the Peanuts.
Finally, the
League as announced that the League Headquarters will be moved
from the current location in Conyers, GA to the Atlanta suburb of
Macon. “Locating the League Offices in Macon allows us the
opportunity to remain in the suburban metro Atlanta area while
utilizing Historic Luther Williams Field as a base for league
activities,” said SCL CEO Jamie Toole.
