Conyers, GA - The South Coast League of Professional Baseball
and the Macon Music are pleased to announce that Music first
baseman Scott Robinson has signed a contract with the Seattle
Mariners.
Robinson was voted as the league’s Most
Valuable Player following the 2007 Inaugural Season and helped
lead the Macon Music into the 2007 SCL Championship Series. “I
think that it is good to see the SCL MVP being rewarded with an
opportunity to get back into affiliated baseball,” said the
SCL’s Director of Baseball Operations James Gamble, “that
is what the SCL baseball operations are all about, providing an
extension for MLB.”
